It is being carried out for Five areas selected for implementation of the identified priority interventions are (i) Keti Bunder (mangrove ecosystem) in Thatta, (ii) Kinjhar Lake (freshwater ecosystem) in Thatta, (iii) Chotiari Reservoir (wetland ecosystem) in Sanghar and riverine ecosystem [(iv) Pai Forest in Nawabshah district and (v) Keti Shah in Sukkur district. The Indus for All Program is focused on the following four project objectives:
- Community-based natural resource management in four priority areas contributes to improved livelihoods.
- Improved natural resources and livelihoods through mainstreaming of poverty-environment linkages at policy, planning and decision-making levels.
- Improved institutional capacity and awareness for sustainable management at various levels.
- Improved alignment and collaboration for stakeholder interventions
