Description of Project:
Since March, 2009, Action Against Hunger (AAH) is implementing a three year project “Improving Living Conditions in a Changing Environment-Thatta Coastal Farmers”  funded by the World Bank through the Japanese Social Development Fund. 
It is primarily an action-research (pilot) project to find easily replicable and sustainable mitigation measures against the impact of increased stalinization of soils for Food Security and Livelihoods and water sources for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.  It is being implemented in the Keti Bunder and Karo Chan union councils of Thatta district. Besides other core activities of the project, the capacity building of farmers has been given focus, in this respect various training events has been planned.

Objective of the Project
The main objective assignment is to organize three days three residential training events for the 60 selected farmers of coastal area of district thatta.
