Carryout socio-economic and technical feasibility study of establishing Bio Gas Plants at Bhambhore Dairy Village and Processing Zone, Thatta, Sindh, Pakistan

   
  The Study Objectives are to:
 
  1. Carry out survey of the demarcated area for the establishment of Dairy village and Meat processing zone with reference to the topography of the site.
  2. Prepare feasibility report of the project, design and complete drawings including animal sheds, slaughter house, meat processing facilities and other related infrastructure.
  3. Prepare plan for the establishment of feedlot units keeping in view the local conditions.
  4. Assess meat production after establishment of the project and scope for export.
  5. Assist in preparation of PC-I of the project.
  6. Prepare estimates for the machinery and other related equipment for slaughter house, biogas plant, processing of meat and overall requirements of the project.
  7. Evaluate economics for rearing of calves (cattle/buffalo) meat production.
  8. Provide awareness to the concerned officials in the implementation of the project and selection of beneficiaries.
  9. prepare and submit to Secretary to Government of Sindh for Livestock & Fisheries department a detailed work plan within two weeks of inception of the consultancy and submit preliminary report by 31st May 2007, midterm report by 15th July and final consultancy report at the end of the consultancy in close consultation with the concerned officials of Livestock & Fisheries department indicating concrete proposals/recommendations for the establishment of the project.
