Ms. Tasneem Bhatti is a social development professional. She has 12 years extensive experience in the field of social development and management. She has acquired Master’s degree in economics and Bachelors degree in commerce.
Recently she has completed a gigantic project with Nippon Koi UK. Nippon Koi, its local firm in Pakistan is MM Pakistan. This project - Sindh Basic Urban Services (SBUS) is funded by Asian Development Bank, its a PPTA, pilot project in seven Urban Towns of Sindh, Pakistan in collaboration with Sindh Local Government Department, mainly work on the component of Water Supply and Sewerage.
She as freelance consultant, work with PREMIER-KUFPEC PAKISTAN B.V (PKP), Premier KUFPEC is an oil and gas exploration company, Action Aid, OXFAM-UK, Save the Children Fund-UK, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Sindh Rural Support Program, Baanhn Beli, Sindh Graduates Association, Center of Research and Information of SZABIST, Indus Resource Center (IRC), Sindh Agriculture Forestry Worker Co-operative Organization (SAWFCO) PREMIER-KUFPEC PAKISTAN B.V (PKP), Hagler Bailly Pakistan and Halcrow Pakistan. She had national and international assignments, focus on health, education, poverty alleviation, flood, drought and other disaster related issues and customary traditional practices.
Besides the development consultancy work she also works with I.T and Relief Department of Board of Revenue, GoS. The department has digitalized, land records of seven (7) districts of Sindh under name Revenue, Management and Information System (REMIS). Also joined the government for Relief Calamity work.
She has written several reports of the development & management projects and possesses skills in documentation, management and information system. Her extensive work with indigenous people is rare found in this area.
She has been a resource person in trainings related to gender, education, poverty, women entrepreneurship, drought/flood issues etc. and possesses skills in IT applications including use of MS Office, MIS program, other graphical applications. |
