Mr. Nazar Hussain Soomro got his Masters’ degree in Educational Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, USA. Mr. Soomro also holds B.Sc. Honors and M.Sc Degrees in Psychology with distinctions from University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He is the recipient of UNESCO fellowship for Poland. Mr. Soomro was also awarded Witkin-Okinji award by the International Association of Cross Cultural Psychology.
Mr. Nazar Hussain Soomro is the young faculty member, currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychological Testing, Guidance & Research, Faculty of Education, University of Sindh. He has done research studies and training in the field of Education, Criminal Behaviour, social-psychological aspects of personality development and child rearing practices, role of values and motives. Mr. Soomro has participated in some international projects such as the 35 nation study project titled 'Cultural Tightness-Closeness Theory'. He has also contributed in various national and at international conferences, workshops and seminars. Presently, he is also trainer at Women Political School supported by UNDP through Ministry of Women Development Govt. of Pakistan. |
