Mr. Aijaz Ali Khooharo is teacher, researcher and statistician by profession and believes in learning as a life long process.  Mr. Khooharo received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Applied Statistics from Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam with Honors in 1993 and 1994, respectively. He graduated with Master’s in Extension Education from University of Minnesota, USA in 1998.  During Master’s degree program, he took several courses of agricultural extension education and statistics including “Statistical Analysis Using SPSS” and earned “A” grade.  He actively participated in training programs, namely Learning Teaching Skills, Journalism, and Leadership Skills. 

Mr. Khooharo has recently completed PhD research work in the field of Agriculture Education and Extension under the Supervision of Eminent Professor and Development Consultant Dr. Rajab A. Memon in Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam.  Mr. Khooharo defended the doctoral research work in the open seminar on August 17, 2006, which was unanimously approved. Copies of doctoral theses have been sent to technically advance countries for evaluation. It is assumed that the doctoral degree will be awarded by the end of current year.

Mr. Khooharo possesses good expertise in experimental designs usually used in natural sciences as well as sample surveys used in social sciences. He provides consultancy services to PhD scholars and researchers working on different projects in designing of experiments/surveys and analysis of data.  Besides teaching graduate and postgraduate courses, Mr. Khooharo conducted several training courses on research methodology, analysis of data using various packages including SPSS, R-Code, and Statistix for University Teachers, Research Officers of Research Institutions, Planning Officers of Sindh Government and NGO Workers/Researchers.  Mr. Khooharo taught a course “Measurement and Evaluation” to university and college teachers in 2 training programs titled “Learning Teaching Skills” organized by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.
